Recently, Andrew created a Landscape Design Chevy Chase that was exactly what I had wanted. He installed beautiful stone steps and planters along with our front porch. Our front entrance is very steep and I thought there is no way to fix that, but Andrew did and beautifully! His crew is polite and professional. You can tell they are highly skilled. Even years later, their craftsmanship has held up. Their stone work is amazing! Andrew is easy to work with and has done several jobs for me over the years, inside the house and out. He is the only person I call for my home improvement projects.
Good quality, great price, and fast service for a quick backyard fix. Andrew pulled out a garden bed for us, connected a drain pipe, and put pavers in. Held up swell during heavy rain + looks excellent!
We have worked with Andrew and his crew since 2006 over various renovation Landscape Design Chevy Chase projects. He built an outdoor fireplace ,stone wall and wood deck. He installed a brick driveway and path and added new windows in our first project. It totally changed the character of our home. He is attentive and punctual and honest as are the workers he hires. We hired him to install a brand new kitchen and renovate our first floor from flooring to painting. We are thrilled with the work and again had a seamless experience with Andrew. He is currently renovating two bathrooms for us . He is great at providing a detailed contract and estimating the cost of construction including Landscape Design Chevy Chase. When we needed some structural and foundation work in our basement, he educated himself on what needed to be done and secured our basement. We cannot say enough positive words about Andrew and his responsiveness and his integrity.
Sebastian Design Build transformed my outdoor space. My back yard was an unkempt play area for my now grown children (sand box, play house and lots of weeds/grass). Sebastian came in and graded the space and transformed it into a beautiful outdoor kitchen and patio (with a built-in grill, drawers and a bar area), a fence panel for outdoor movie viewing, and a separate area for yoga and stretching. He also made the pathway from my driveway to my entrance much more efficient and beautiful and creatively camouflaged my a/c compressor so it was no longer an eyesore. His workmanship is excellent and he really listened to my needs. I would not hesitate to work with him again.
I had the pleasure of working with Andrew and crew last fall. He designed and built a patio with a fireplace at my house in Alexandria. We love it and get a lot of compliments every time we entertain. Andrew was efficient and easy to work with for Landscape Design Chevy Chase.
Sebastian (Andrew) re-designed what seemed to be our small kitchen/dining room combo room, into a functional kitchen with a new island/breakfast bar and a separate dining room. – now buffered by the new message center placed between the two. It makes a great transition. It made the kitchen/dining room into separate rooms.
In addition to his design of the cabinetry, his newly placed recessed ceiling lights, hanging pendant lights, and under cabinet lights made all the difference to us. Andrew turned our long bowling alley multipurpose type room into 3 separate areas with their own purposes. We will be calling him back when we are ready to build our garage extension.
We have used Sebastian Design Build for a variety of projects ranging from a total backyard renovation (including a pizza oven, landscaping, pool installation, custom garage doors) to smaller projects inside the house. Andrew and his crew are attentive, honest and responsive.

Sebastian has worked at my house on at least 5 projects over the last decade. We had an overall plan for our outdoor space that he helped us implement in phases. Andrew looked at the overall project goals and advised us about what piece would make sense to build first and how to phase the rest. Sebastian built retaining walls, a custom wood-burning stone fireplace, two patio spaces, rebuilt my front walk, installed a side walkway and trash can enclosure, placed boulders, and drilled through a boulder to create a custom water feature. The stone masons are talented and use good judgement when making design decisions. My yard is now a beautiful space where my family relaxes and entertains friends. Great work!

Sebastian Design Build designed a beautiful deck for our home. Andrew and co are a dream, the design was gorgeous and everyone involved made the building process extremely easy and no hassle. We wanted to add a fence as well, but hadn’t been able to find anything that worked with our yard. Andrew showed us a couple different options and designed a beautiful fence specifically for us. Everyone was extremely attentive and went above and beyond in helping us create our dream Landscape Design Chevy Chase yard. The results are fantastic, I highly recommend.
