Andrew Sebastian founded Sebastian Design Build in 1999 with a goal of creating spaces for families and friends to gather. He and his team have been creating exceptional outdoor living spaces in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC for 20 years. This kind of experience, coupled with Andrew’s passion for outdoor design, indoor design and Landscape Design Chevy Chase is one reason our clients love the end result of their beautifully, thoughtful and custom design outdoor space at Sebastian Design Build.
Andrew always loved to be outdoors growing up in the Washington DC area. His affinity for building began at a very young age. He designed and built many tree forts and go-karts. This love of the outdoors and Landscape Design Chevy Chase construction led him to begin his studies during his journey to receive his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Maryland. After graduation, a desire to serve his country led him to the Army Reserves, where he was trained as a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist. After leaving the military, he continued his calling in what you now know as Sebastian Design Build.

In fact, we do several things untraditionally from other contractors here at Sebastian Design Build. Our goal is to provide you with all of your needs and more. Andrew has built a team that has been together for nearly twenty years. All work in the field is performed by craftsmen that have been trained by Andrew, the founder himself. The team of craftsmen at Sebastian Design Build has been led by two key members. Julio Alfredo Ronquillo and Miguel Lopez Rodriguez joined the team the same year the company was founded. They are the project managers that lead the installation teams, ensuring that the standard of excellence is achieved on every project.
Because we are a relatively small firm, each project receives individualized attention regardless of the size of the project. Whether it’s a simple front entry walk, with foundation plantings, or an elevated swimming pool with structural retaining walls, we believe all of our clients deserve our total commitment.
